The wait is officially over for the South West’s rapidly growing darts community. Aim Straight Darts, Western Australia’s first purpose-built darts venue, will open its doors to the public on Saturday, June 13.
Located at Unit 5, 6/8 Bakewell Drive, Port Kennedy, the facility is spearheading a massive shift in how the sport is played locally. Founded by local entrepreneur Rachel Parkhouse, the venue is a first-of-its-kind in the state and a bold move in a sport traditionally dominated by men.

The venue functions as Western Australia’s premier interactive darts community space. It is divided into a Professional Match Zone with dedicated lighting and an Interactive Social Darts Area featuring 11 rotating game modes.

The facility boasts eight premium dart lanes equipped with automatic scoring systems, eliminating manual scorekeeping and making the sport instantly accessible to players of all experience levels. Two lanes are fitted with VIRT camera technology, enabling players to compete online against opponents from anywhere in the world in real time.

Aim Straight Darts has secured product support from Target Darts, one of the world’s leading darts manufacturers. The venue operates Port Kennedy’s first dedicated try-before-you-buy dart shop, stocking Target Darts as its primary brand alongside Winmau and Shot Darts. Players can test premium gear under expert guidance before purchasing.

Utilizing the ownership group’s printing roots through AS Design & Print, the venue also manufactures custom darts playing shirts available in the venue’s pro shop.
The venture has attracted significant local business support ahead of opening, with sponsorship from Baldivis Garage Door Repairs and Mandurah Garage Door Rescue.

Designed to be inclusive for families and professionals alike, lane hire starts at just $15 per hour for two players during off-peak periods, making it one of Perth’s most affordable entertainment options.

For dedicated players, Aim Straight Darts is launching with a limited Founding Membership program, capped at just 100 members. For $125, founding members receive three months of membership, a free branded polo shirt, 10% off all shop purchases, and priority lane bookings.
