Baldivis finally has the police presence it deserves. The new $26.7 million Baldivis Police Station, located on Settlers Avenue, has officially opened its doors, marking a significant milestone for our region.

For years, residents in Baldivis, Karnup, and Secret Harbour have relied on police resources stretched between Rockingham and Mandurah. This new facility closes that gap, promising faster response times and a visible deterrence to the antisocial behaviour that has frustrated locals.

Inside the Station: This isn’t just an office; it’s a state-of-the-art facility designed for the future.

  • Capacity: Built to house up to 100 full-time officers.

  • Operations: 24/7 active duty.

  • Tech: Advanced evidence management, fingerprinting, and alcohol testing facilities.

  • Sustainability: Equipped with solar panels and battery storage to offset daytime energy use.

What They Said: Police Minister and local MLA Reece Whitby called it “one of the most advanced stations in the country,” while Premier Roger Cook assured residents that “Baldivis is in safe hands.”

At the Baldivis Times, we thank the officers who will be staffing this station. We hope this investment brings the return to safety and family-friendly vibes our community is asking for.
